Farmhouse Ale

Our Farmhouse Ale soap uses our own homebrew, (and recently, the brews from 9th Hour Brewing and Harbor Brewing, both located in our town of Lake Villa, IL!) which combined with our own raw goat milk makes for a super lather, and dense bubbles in the shower (or tub!). Added is the tiniest bit of exfoliation in the form of hibiscus and alkanet powders (known for anti-inflammatory benefits), plus activated charcoal (known for detoxifying the skin and unclogging pores), so this bar is ready and packed with goodies to help you get to cleaning your skin with purpose! Truly sumptuous, this popular bar is tough to keep in stock!

Scent Profile: You’ll notice warm top notes of bourbon, cherry, tobacco, and spice, with low notes of dark chocolate, just like a delicious stout beer.

Late Summer 2022 – We’re replacing our homebrew with beer from 9th Hour Brewing and/or Harbor Brewing Company’s beer. Available starting 8/3/22.

Annie Goat Soap is handcrafted using pure ingredients, thoughtful scenting and raw goat milk from our small farm in Illinois. Our soaps are rustic and rough-hewn, making them uniquely imperfect in appearance, and perfectly bubbly and luxurious when used for cleansing!  Hand blended in small batches, we believe in handling the soap as little as possible, so after cutting and curing, they are wrapped, arriving to you, ready to get to work cleaning your skin!

Ingredients: This Annie Goat Soap is made with our own organic dairy goat milk, homebrew; olive oil, organic coconut oil, castor oil; water, lard, sodium hydroxide, activated charcoal, hibiscus & alkanet powders; cosmetic-grade, phthalate-free fragrance oil; tussah silk, Himalayan salt, titania. Additional or fewer ingredients noted on packaging and in each soap’s description. Our products are preservative/cruelty-free, and never tested on animals. Learn more about all our ingredients here.

I have yet to use this specific soap but have used the hot cocoa soap and love it!

I’m not much of an ale drinker, but this reminds me of a luscious cup of coffee with cream. Yum.
